HOUNDSTOOTH PATTERNED PARACORD 550 BLACK-ROYAL BLUE

The paracord is modeled after the parachute cord used in the U.S. military. According to the military standard MIL-C 5040H, which was in force until 1997, the cord was called Paracord 550, Type III, with a diameter close to 4 mm (this was never completely specified), with 7 twisted nylon fibers inside and a load capacity of at least 550 pounds (249 kg) and an elongation of at least 30%. Our high quality, easy to knot, high tensile strength, UV resistant, colourfast, melts, paracord fully meets the standards above. It is mainly used as a creative cord, but excellent to use even in extreme conditions for any serious purpose. It is an excellent accessory for making bracelets and collars and is also useful for hiking. The paracord is also available with a reflective or extra strong braided Kevlar core with minimal elongation. Our microcord and nanocord products match to our paracord in colour.
